Organize’s research and advocacy has led to: 

 

• Regulatory reforms to hold organ contractors accountable to objective data, projected to save more than 7,200 lives every year and $1 billion annually to Medicare;

• The unanimous passage of bipartisan legislation in both the House and the Senate to break up the national organ monopoly;

• Four separate Congressional investigations into the organ donation industry and how to protect vulnerable patients from the House Oversight Committee, Senate Finance Committee, Energy & Commerce Committee, and Ways and Means Committee

• Five separate Congressional oversight hearings advancing bipartisan, commonsense reform for patients; and

• Work across four Presidential administrations (Obama - Trump - Biden - Trump)  to bring data-driven transparency and accountability to the U.S. organ donation system
